The Caloundra Rise Community

Southern Cross Care’s Caloundra Retirement Village has all the amenities of a holiday resort with the pleasure friendly neighbours and the camaraderie that comes from living in a community of like-minded people.

The villas are all set in fully maintained, beautifully landscaped tropical gardens, wide open roads and room for caravans and boats. There is plenty of room between villas so privacy is never an issue, the total site is an expanse of more than 45 acres!

We believe that it is our community that will really make the beauty of living at Caloundra Rise. Many of our residents form a bond for life, ensuring that each other’s needs for care and attention are met, supporting each other in occasional times of sickness and offering help with meals and trips to doctors or for other needs.

Our notice board is a central point to tell everyone what is going on in our community. There are often community and sporting events and trips to the beach and other places. Our residents’ social committee works very hard to ensure that everyone has their input into decision making and to provide a variety of social activities to keep everyone busy and entertained.

One event always on our calendar is International Peace Day Celebrations. This event brings both the retirement village residents and the Aged Care residents together to celebrate and pray for a World of Peace.
