Our community centre is available to all and features a dance hall, drinks bar, coffee lounge and billiard table - a perfect place for residents to catch up and share a laugh.

The large kitchen contains all the necessary equipment to cater for large gatherings and the separate lounge area and bar has an Austar satellite TV service. Residents regularly play indoor bowls and the card game tables are always busy. We hold arts and craft classes, table tennis championships, fitness classes and more.

Our swimming pool is a huge draw card and the BBQ area frequented by residents and their guests. A full size tennis court is situated beside the Community Centre and pool. All racquets and balls are supplied to you and your guests.

There is an onsite hairdressing service, catering to both men and women.

The gardens for each unit are maintained by our resident gardeners, and for those who choose to tend their own garden, Southern Cross Care runs a garden competition across all villages which is enthusiastically supported by our residents.

Maintenance on units is handled by central management and a big effort made to ensure jobs are completed quickly, effectively and on time.

To help keep costs of purchasing meals down, we recently acquired a food trolley that delivers meals door-to-door by over 30 resident volunteers every fortnight.

Our 25 seater bus is used for mystery trips, shopping, monthly concerts and other outings - like breakfast at Cocos.

The residents have proudly developed an extensive vegie garden and allotment and those who participate enjoy fresh vegetables and fruit on a daily basis. Kilos of tomatoes, beans, carrots, beetroot, cauliflower, lettuce and herbs are available on Tuesdays and Fridays for all residents for the cost of a gold coin.
